Brett Scieszka is primarily an award winning screenwriter living in Southern California, but also a multi-hyphenate with creative endeavors ranging from film criticism and filmmaking to cartooning, prose, and illustration. His original feature length script “Stateside” was the Grand Prize Award winner of the 2018 Hollywood Hills Screenplay Competition, as well as First Place in the Suspense/Thriller category of the 2018 Los Angeles Screenplay Contest. Having spent many a year slinging drinks behind the bar, Brett’s quick with a joke or story, and always up for an adventure. When not having a blast writing or drawing, you’ll find this guy goofing off with his knucklehead daughter and photographer wife, or getting mauled by his perversely enormous cat.
